Now i know there is nothing compared to Halo on PS2..But i dont have a xbox and i absolutely love that game. Is there anything that is remotely the same on PS2?

Sony touted Killzone as the "Halo Killer", but the hype never panned out.

So, try Killzone, it is as close as you'll find on the PS2.

i hate Xbox and microsoft for not making halo on playstation. they honestly probably would have made more money if they made it for ps2

even though i ended up buying a really old Xbox on ebay just to play it

By only making it for Xbox they make more money. That way peeps have to buy a Xbox and then the game. It's a win win for Microsoft. The same with Gears of War now.

Thats why I bought the original xbox when I had a ps2, and why I opted to by 360.

Gears of war is the best online game going right now. Halo 3 might be better but for what it is worth, I think a 360 is a good by for all you get. Live is awesome and you can do more than gaming with the xbox. Download movies, compile your music and photos, watch HDDVD with a purchase of hadware. Gears alone is enough for me but the sports games are great as well.

See I think Rainbow is the best online game. :)

But i've played Tom Clancy games for a long time and have been a big fan.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Yeah, got some good games going on. Elk was on and he had a good group of guys playing. I thought you might skip seeing you made it to 530 the last night.

You could give Tribes 2 a whirl. I had some pretty good online experiences with that game. It's somewhat similar to Halo- cept you have jetpacks. One major flaw and that communication online with this game is almost nonexistent.
