I dont get how some folks trash the OP for asking a valid question on a message board... Jeez blast the man cause he doesn't know the in's and out's of running a college program.. Some of you guys are great at NCAA14 with the offseason flying by right... I think its a perfectly good question OP. Id be interested to know how he changes things in this 9 month span.

 Cause everything we know about running a college football program we learned right here on VN.....

I'll give it a shot:

January- 'Cruitin' and filling in last of staff. Coaches convention, etc.
February- Photo and media ops after signing day. Signing class tour of Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville and Memphis. Set up office.
March- Talent eval. Install offense and defense schemes, terminology, playbooks, practice calendar, etc.
April- Spring practice
May- Buy a house. Big Orange caravan tours. Meet as many high school coaches in TN as possible.
June and July- Prospect camps. High school talent eval.
August- Prep for fall practice. 2018 guys all enrolled and acclimated. Pre season season kickoff BBQ in Nashville right after SEC Media Days.
September- Start

Good lord. What the hell do you think a first time head coach is going to be doing leading up to his first season?

Another brain fart thread.

Why I get tired of message boards. If you don't like the thread, just stay away. No need to make the OP feel like crap.
