I’m sure there is a way to list the names of those senators that hate college sports, especially women and Olympic sports, that voted against the Act. Anyone know how to do that?

Corey Booker has already come out against the bill, but he's an ex-football player so he's just a homer for the players.

The biggest parts of this bill is that conferences will be capped at 20 teams. That means the SEC has 4 more teams to pickup and the B10 only 2.

There are many valid reasons to oppose the bill lol. It should have forced the ncaa to collectively bargain with college athletes and put controls in place to stop the growth in coach salaries.

Speaker Johnson will not allow it to come to the House. He represents the fine state of Louisiana and went to LSU.

Then again if all the BEST players from high school go to the FCS so they can play - we may start to see upsets.

High school players - many folks on this board complaining saying ALL our QB's should come from the transfer portal which is what all the major schools are doing.

What HS QBs are not getting a scholly that would have before all this? Fail to see that any of them have been harmed. The total demand for QBs did not decrease.

And those that believe the government should stay out of it - they are already in it - what do you think the Supreme Court is? It is one branch of our government.
