If we lose the next 2? GA already has 2 loses and UF has 1 with possibly 1-2 more.

What keeps us out

Florida needs to lose another and then we need to win all the rest of our SEC games afterward. UF has a pretty tall order to stay in the hunt and UGA has a gargantuan one at this point. It's ours to lose and we have a really good shot of getting in even if we do drop the next two. If we were going to go 2-2 in this stretch we beat the right teams already for our best SECCG chances.

If we lose next 2 and win out. Fla. needs to lose 1 more, and they still play LSU, UGA, and Arkansas...and I don't think they go 3-0 with that left

Georgia is out.
Florida won't beat LSU or Arky
Florida plays Georgia.

A lot of help for Vols

i think it's going to be difficult to come out of the next two games w/out at least 1 loss. these last two weeks have been ridiculous, and as much as i love our cardiac vols....no one draws up winning games like we have the last two weeks. we're still searching for a 4 qtr game, and it's painfully obvious we need DKjr and JRM back asap. at least one of them.

all that said, worst case, we lose the next two, we then need LSU, ARK or GA to beat FL.

we'd have to lose 3 for GA to get back in it, and they can't lose at all.

i think FL has a loss or two left on their schedule.

we said it all year...10-2, with wins over FL and GA.....well, we're on the way to that, or better.

if we win either of the next two games, i'm gonna say it's almost a lock we're in ATL, ,barring a major melt/let down....in the mean time, i hope FL loses all three of the above games.

Especially if LSU plays the rest of the season like they did yesterday.

Absolutely agree. I was worried with les gone they may fold the rest of the season and I was banking on that being the other loss for Fla., but after last night I'm not writing them off yet. I'm also not writing off UGA, after the way they ran the ball on us. I didn't see that coming

You have to think we get 1 of 2.
Not sure we get aTm. Most of thier speed was out yesterday so they'll be full go Saturday. I'm worried about covering and tackling.

I think we was too worried about the PA. Much like Oregon was too worried about Scam to play pass defense in the NC

For the SECCG, we don't need either of the next 2 if we win out after, BUT, to have a shot at the CFP, we ABSOLUTELY DO! Clemson, Washington, OSU have a clear path WITH 1 LOSS (maybe even Miami with 1). If we, ole miss, or LSU win the SECCG with 2 losses...... I am sayin it here, THE SEC IS OUT!...and we will see a 6 or 8 team playoff for next year!

Houston is gonna get in with no losses!

I doubt they can stop the running game of LSU in death valley. They'll pound on them for 4 quarters and win.

If we lose the next 2 and UF finishes the season with one lone loss to us, would they not be in the SECCG for the east? Even though we beat them? That's what I'm not clear on

We just may not lose 2 games, I'm more worried about living' through 'em. We've beaten fla. and ga. , advantage in the tie breaker(?). :dunno:

If Florida loses one more game, we are SECeast champs with a 6-2 SEC record. I seriously doubt they beat both LSU and Arkansas. I actually think they will lose both.

florida has an easier schedule than we do. They could win out. They play lsu, missouri and south carolina at home, georgia in jacksonville, and arkansas in the dark continent known as arkansas. That's an easier schedule than we have, having to play a&m there and bama. You realize that we screw ourselves every year by having bama on the schedule? Yea, it's a great rivalry game, but in terms of winning the SEC it's a big negative for us. Aren't we the only SEC team that plays florida and bama every year. We'd be better off rotating out of the bama game, to be candid.

we had 6 in the box almost all day against them. If we drop in a 7th or an 8th we shut the run down.
