I would like to also point out that the best team in the SEC this year has been 3 times since 2001 and none before that. That's hard to believe for a team like LSU.

Yeah that is surprising. But i can also remember some coaches that were pretty much lame ducks at lsu. Gerry dinardo comes to mind.

You can attribute the rise of LSU and GA this decade to the fact that they hired new coaches at that time.
