Ok how does Tenn get a 6 seed.We were ranked 14 in the last coaches poll, should have been a 4 or 5. Miss St plays 5 wildcats and 3 zebras and get beat by Ky in overtime in reg season and SEC tourney and does not get in. Fla, Gators lost to Miss St in tourney and gets a 10 seed. No way. I know i am just a redneck but someone explain this to me. lol

It's who you know and how well you brown nose. Billy D must have done a exceptional job of it this year.

I agree that UT should have been a 4 or a 5. I think the lower seeding was a combination of the manner of the bad loss to Kentucky on Saturday, combined with a perception that the Vols are a bit schizophrenic and could lose to a San Diego State just as easily as they might beat a Syracuse.

Florida got in because they were 6-0 in the regular season against the SECW, including a regular season win over Mississippi State. Florida had nonconference games against Michigan State, FSU, and Syracuse, beating 2 of the 3, while MSU's best out of conferernce opponent was Old Dominion.

Six seed, four seed. You still have beat some pretty good teams to get to sweet sixteen. The 1 and 2 seeds are the only ones that get a layup out of the gate. We need to just win and move on.

You are spot on. The East dominated the West this year and that is why no teams from the West got in. The SEC is a weak bball conference right now, but with Kentucky being back, Vanderbilt playing well, UT-Pearl (next years signing class) Florida consistency, MSU, Ole Miss, Georgia's new coach, Alabama's new coach, the conference will improve and be right there with ACC and Big East. (Sorry for the grammar but I'm trying to work too)
