If CBJ is able to sign 35 new VFLs this year: how many will be back-counted to 2013 and how many will be forward-counted to the 2015 class (grey or blue shirt)? Also, how many slots are expected to be open for the 2015 class? Sorry for all the questions, but man, I'm confused!

You got to figure there will be some moving around of recruits before Feb. It will probably all work itself out. Nothing is set in stone until the ink is dry.

Is anyone worried that we are going to be f'd by the ncaa on this? Butch knows what he is doing but it makes me wonder if the ncaa will lay down the hammer soon. Idk. I may not know what i am talking about lol just a thought :loco:

Calm down... I don't think hart and jones will do anything that will put their jobs in jeopardy. . They found something, and are using it to its fullest extent. .

That article basically says nothing. Butch has found a loophole and will use it. It will get closed after this year IMO. probably alot will change with the FAA too

This.

UTAD has an excellent AA compliance officer and approach. They will handle it. But I think many of the dumb rules could be eliminated by making 85 the number unless the school is on probation.

It's like they pretend there are not hundreds of quality football players to choose from annually. The better programs with more to offer and better coaching staffs are always going to get the better players regardless of the annual cap. Dumb is dumb and its name is the NCAA.

The only time some fans complain about loopholes being found is when thier team wasn't smart enough to take advantage of it.

The problem with the loophole, is its not exactly a loophole, it's an interpretation of the NCAA and SEC rules. We know what the rule means, and what it entails, but we think we can bypass those rules because we're interpreting it differently than the rule makers.

The problem is, if its not legal, and we attempt to skirt NCAA rules, they are generally not very nice with their response
