Unreal that he got 630 last year!
Should get 1000 plus being THE guy and with our O line much better

What's the school records for rushing yards?

I got a feeling Kelly can break it. He's talented enough to do it and he'll have the chance being the only RB with experience on the roster.

Travis Henry, 3078 and kinduv unlikely. He's already a JR

Travis Stephens ran for like 1500 im 2001.

I believe he holds record.

With 12-13 total games in a season, I don't see how most teams can't have a 1000 yard rusher. I understand traditionally poor teams don't but certainly not avg to above avg teams.

It's not like the old days of 10 game seasons and maybe a bowl.

Thanks. I think Jon Kelly breaks this record.

I'm think 1,500 rushing yards is realistic for JK in 2017.

Impressive stats for the number of games. He'll have tougher competition but will be the premiere back.
The ol will be a huge factor.
Definitely pulling for the guy.

Even 14 games or 15?

If Kelly stays healthy all season I don't see how he doesn't get to 1000 yards.

Only way that happens is if Chandler or one of the other freshmen are Gurley/Chubb level good right out of the gate.

Correct. It's only 77 yards per game in a 13 game season.

1000 yds = 100 yds per game.
I think we should look at this measuring stick as per game yards. i.e. 12 games measuring stick = 1200 yrds for season and so on, not just a 1000 yards per season.

I hope Kelly can live up to the lofty expectations being heaped upon him by the fans.

He was our 3rd string running back last year.

Either, he wasn't as good as Hurd or Kamara, or Butch had him buried on the depth chart for no reason, which wouldn't be shocking.
