How the heck does it equal lack of aggression? Should we try and get more late hits and personal fouls just to show UT is tough? Come on

Seriously??? Come on man. It's a lot like basketball, on occassion, players get a "hustle" foul. Kinda like football and being aggressive.

As if our opponents starting field position isn't good enough we should now start tacking on 15yds to every drive? Penalties do not equal aggression unless MSU is now the 2nd most aggressive team in the SEC.

Nobody wants to give up yards in the form of penalties.

You may be recanting that MSU statement in a week and a half. Additionally, MSU is followed by Kentucky, LSU, and Arkansas. We'll see on 2 out of those 3 who are aggresive as well.

Sometimes db's get penalties for being a little too close, d-line jumps in anticipation, some personal fouls on occassion are due to hitting someone right on the out of bounds line...there are a ton of scenarios where hustling or being fired up get you penalized. I think that was the point one of the original posters was trying to make.
