I'm sure most of you are probably aware, but I still like seeing the graphic.

Wonder what the odds would have been when Joey first committed that he would lead the SEC in passing after 9 games?
He has a decent shot at 4,000 yards if he plays in the bowl game.

That's never happened in UT history.

Those are rookie numbers….some very impressive rookie numbers for this rookie of ours in this league. I suspect those numbers will go up a lot this weekend and hopefully the next two weekends after that. JA should never have to buy a meal in Knoxville again. This season would be vastly different without him.

He's on pace.

3,819 is 'technically' the record. Even though it's really 3,953.

It's odd that the NCAA can't just go back and retroactively add the stats from bowl games, so we're comparing apples to apples. It's not like the stats weren't kept.

Of course, it's the NCAA.

there was a thread before the season started about what our expectations were for Joey this year. I said over 3,600 yards with 70% completion rate and less than 10 interceptions. I think I came close. What did you enter?

Great post! Heupel has yet to have a returning starting QB since coaching for us. Could you imagine a starting QB for an entire season in year two or three in his system?

And we’re going to break a new one in next year. Might be a portal xfer if he can find one. That’s the hard thing with NIL and the portal…harder to maintain any continuity.

What’s funny is I’ve seen Heisman hype articles mentioning five of those QBs and none of them are Aguilar.
