With GA and SC losing today and UT yesterday the SEC is 0-3....good chance the SEC finishes with a losing record IMO

SEC is down this year all over. We're not over rated just down. We didn't beat anybody but KY, VY, OM. You can't beat us and say you beat a good SEC team. Same with GA. USC just fell apart toward the end of the season.

the sec was down this year, especially in the east. still thought USCe would win tonight, though.

Definitely a down year...everyone will be back though; just a matter of time. Tough loss by Georgia to a Conf USA team! Ouch, and with USCjr, I can't help myself; in the words of Coach Green, "they are who we thought they were!" :D

I expect that the SEC will finish 6-4 or 5-5, but everybody knew that the East was pretty bad this year. Plus Georgia and Carolina were in really terrible emotional situations, which always play a big factor in bowls. That leaves us. . .

You have to admin when SC wins the east, the SEC as a whole is down. But far from over rated.

No, when South Carolina wins the East, the SEC East is down. The west could still have six teams better than the East champion (they don't, but you could make an argument for five).

no its not the SEC as a whole, according to the people at Hogville its just the East, luckily for us though, everbody in the west ESPECIALLY the Razorbacks could beat any NFL team, so they will no doubt destroy any team that gets in their way for the next hundred years. (and also, if you didnt already know it, Petrino can walk on water.):banghead2:

I see FL pulling winning for CUM, Bama curb stomping Mich. St., and Miss. St. beating Michigan tomorrow

Overrated?!?!?!?! The ONLY reason other conferences exist, is so that the SEC will have someone to play.

I can see Miss St losing.....I actually picked them to

Not a chance imo. Michigan's D is horrible, especially their run D and Miss St. can run the ball. I'll be shocked if Miss st. doesn't win by double digits. IMO

I thought through out the season that the sec was down a little IMO. But it's still the toughest

Yeah SC might still be aching from the SECCG loss aka loss on the biggest stage in school history. And by loss I mean rapefest.

The SEC isn't down so much as it is diluted for the bowl season. At the top, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, and Bama are still really good. Florida and South Carolina are solid, MSU might be. Georgia, UT, and Kentucky are a trio of 6-6 teams with losing conference records playing in crap bowls due to the wild proliferation of postseason play in order to fill ESPN timeslots.

SC turned it over 14 times and lost Lattimore in the first quarter. SC minus Lattimore lost to Kentucky.
