Maybe you need some recent history lessons.

Well yea, I guess Fulmer did take some beatings, 59-20 and 30-6 come to mind, but they will get worse. To think that UT caught Florida before they reached their peak, Oh it could have been even uglier.

While I'm pretty much an "anything goes" guy when it comes to what people say, the obvious difference between Spurrier's comments, and Kiffen's comments, is that Spurrier went to the brink of an allegation, but didn't cross the fine line:

“I know when I was hired, after the press conference I took the test to qualify you to be a recruiter. I hadn’t taken it in three or four years. At that time I could start making calls. I don’t know if he was permitted to make that call or not. You’ll have to ask somebody else.”

He stopped short of making an allegation.

On the other hand, Kiffen made an accusation:

"I'm gonna turn Florida in right here in front of you ... I love the fact that Urban had to cheat and still didn't get him."

If that difference is hard to see, think of it this way: Meyer could actually win a court case for defamation of character (slander) for the unfounded comments that Kiffen made. Contrast that with Spurrier's comments, which alluded to the possibility of a violation, but taken literally he was just questioning how Kiffen could have taken the test so quickly. Legally, there would be no case.

Your coach and AD are freaking cry babies!

I would say they are at their peak right now, and will come back to pack after TT is gone. They will still be good afterward, just not as good.

Just think, if SC could figure out how to get 2 out of 3 against UT,UGA,FL, they may have a chance to play for a SEC championship.

Oh wait, and beat Vandy in the same year.
Ya'll are close to the promise land, but the Dores close on you every year.

Spurrier needs to hang it up---he's been washed up for years. He never should have left florida for that disaster in the NFL. Now, he's at a dead end program and will never win anything.

Does no one see the hypocricy of this?

Looking at both statements from the two coaches, we felt that Coach Spurrier’s comments did not rise to the level that Coach Kiffin’s did

Who exactly raised it to that level?

ESPN reported both stories exactly alike and only went crazy after Foley and Slive jumped into it.

Well lets see. He beat UT last year on the field and he beat UT on the recruiting trail this year. It must mean UT is below our dead end program.:p

Enjoy this one last year of um..greatness(?)... You know like the rest of the us that Carolina is destined to be right back where it belongs, battling UK and Vandy for the cellar of the east.
