I was watching talking football on CSS and they made the comment that would be carrying the SEC year.. Is that true? I thought it all was going to be on CBS or ESPN...

Yes they will. There will be more than three or four SEC games per week.

I just moved to Colorado and I am really trying to figure out if I am going to be able to watch UT Football when it is not on one of the ESPN networks - like the season opener?

There will only be a minimum of 6 football games a year aired on CSS. CSS will produce the games. The kind of games that will be shown will be meaningless games.

If you get AT&T internet you can watch all the games on ESPN360, or at least most of them. I think some other carriers will support this too. Just check espn360 to see which carriers will support it. Also, with this new SEC/ESPN deal there will probably be all the games on there and even on TV (ABC/ESPN/ESPNU/ESPN2).:eek:k:

I could be wrong but I'm thinking that those games on CSS will be available in some way if you don't have CSS. I have DirecTV and don't get CSS but I'm thinking I'll be able to see them some way through DirecTV.

Kinda like how DirecTV shows the Braves games on #651 when the games aren't on SportSouth or FSNSouth.

ESPN & CBS can't show all of the SEC games so they will farm out some of the lesser games to CSS, & according to Tony Barnhart, the Fox affiliates like SportsSouth.

I'm hoping for very few games on CSS, because unlike Fox Sports, CSS is only available in limited areas served by Charter or Comcast.

Week 1 has W. Carolina at Vanderbilt on CSS. No big loss to miss that one.

The season opener will be on the new "SEC Network", which is syndicated out just like the old Raycom games. It's coming on my local Fox channel. I don't see an affiliate in Colorado, however. I suppose that could change.

Here's a link to the SEC Network affiliates: LINK

I am sure if you get the ESPN gameplan you will get most of the UT games this season.
