Here is the part about Tennessee

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TENNESSEE:mad: When the No. 22 Volunteers' offense sputters like it has in the last two losses, offensive coordinator Randy Sanders is one of the most popular coaches to blame.

Tennessee (4-2, 2-2) ranks 74th in the nation in scoring offense at 23 points a game, 76th in rushing offense with 136 yards a game and 73rd in total offense at 356 yards a game.

Critics say Sanders is unimaginative and that the Vols need some new blood and new ideas.

After all, Sanders has never left Tennessee. He was quarterback from 1984-1988 and got his first job as a volunteer coach at Tennessee in 1989. Sanders was named the offensive coordinator before the 1998 national championship game after David Cutcliffe left to be head coach at Mississippi.

Sanders says he tries to not let the criticism bother him.

"When you play quarterback, you're going to get too much of the credit when things are good and too much blame when things aren't good. So I think playing quarterback is great preparation for being an offensive coordinator here," he said.

Critics should remember, however, that Sanders doesn't have the final say on plays called.

Head coach Phillip Fulmer, himself a former offensive coordinator, can veto them from the sidelines, he said, but rarely does.
