The SEC starts series on Thursdays.
Why can't they start a series on Saturday and give us a game 3 every Monday night?
The SEC does this for softball.
With such a schedule shift, fans could watch at least one SEC game every night of the week. Midweek games on Tuesday and Wednesday and conference games Thursday through Monday. At least do this weeks four through nine of the conference schedule.
The Saturday-Monday teams could still play a Wednesday night midweek game.
Could you also imagine midweek games at a neutral site against some of 7 teams SEC teams not on schedule?
UGA/UT in Chattanooga
Vanderbilt/Kentucky in Louisville
A&M/LSU in Houston
Arkansas/Oklahoma in Tulsa
Alabama/Ole Miss in Jackson
Auburn/Miss State in Birmingham
