SEC Hoops -- nice start

True, but they are a very special bunch. Gifted as they come and play very unselfishly.
Get a reality check. You're acting like the Gators are the '76 Indiana team or the '92 Duke group. They're a very good college team. Nothing more, nothing less. There's nothing historically great about them.

Whats the line tonight and which way would you go?

Ohio State is favored by 7, and you have to like Florida +7. At +7.5, I might place a bet, but at 7 I don't plan to.

If this game weren't the national title game, I'd be all over the U46.5, but title games generally score higher than that. I *still* might put a unit on the under, as I love the defenses, and Florida might go Princeton basketball in this game.

EDIT: I really like Florida +4.5 1st H, Troy Smith U252 pass yards

Its funny that these two teams have never played each other so there is little to research as far as history.

Even if there were history, it would be almost useless. A John Cooper vs. Steve Spurrier game would be a 180 from a Jim Tressel vs. Urban Meyer game.

I didn't compare them to champion teams from the past and I wouldn't. For one thing, I think that players going to the NBA draft like they have over recent years has changed the landscape so much that you can't compare teams now to teams even five years ago.

But given that change, I think Florida's talent level is just as good right now as anybody else in the country, save perhaps North Carolina, and I think it is clear that the Gators's scheme just happens to work great for this bunch.

Kansas has better talent.

First of all, LG, I'm not 100% in love with your tone right now.

Second of all... well, that's all. I just wanted to use that line.

Wow. . . .only 2 days into SEC basketball and LG is already talking Gator Smack.

Speaking of Gator Smack, I'm having trouble locating my jpeg of C.J.'s "Down Goes Joakim!" shot last year. Any helpers?

Is this what you're looking for?
