The difference in quality of these divisions is ridiculous. The East is 1-7 against the West this year. The games remaining aren't favorable either, they are:
Florida - LSU and Arky
Georgia - Auburn
Vandy - Auburn and Ole Miss
Mizzou - Arkansas
Besides Florida, the rest look like probable L's right now. The lone win? Kentucky over Mississippi State last week, 30-28 in Lexington, on a game-winning field goal as time expired. The East will most likely finish this year 3-11 at best and 1-13 at worst against the West. In such a down year for the East, it is really disappointing that we didn't take care of business and are currently on the outside looking in needing lots of help from Florida. A trip to Atlanta at this point would most likely be a thrashing anyway. We have been ravaged by injuries, but yesterday it was the offense that only managed 14 points. Even without Alvin, who is the best player on our team IMO, we should've been able to hang up at least 24-28 points. I hated the last two losses, but gave them a pass because of the circumstances with injuries. Yesterday's loss is just really a head scratcher. It's hard to think that a well-coached, focused team with a good offensive game plan would lose to that team.
