Not to jinx us or anything but...

current standings

EAST CONF OVERALL
Georgia 4-2 6-2
Tennessee 3-2 5-3
South Carolina 3-3 6-3
Florida 3-3 5-3
Kentucky 2-3 6-3
Vanderbilt 2-3 5-3


We have La Laf, Arkansas, Vandy, then at Kentucky.

With the exception of last night's second half melt down we've bee playing very well at home. By the end of the season when we play UK we should have some motivation and momentum if we've won out at home.

Georgia has Troy, Auburn, Kentucky, and Ga Tech. Plus we've beaten them.

South Carolina Arkansas, Florida, and Clemson. Plus we've beaten them as well.

This week we've gone from the back seat to the driver's seat. We are in control and have the best chance we've had all year to make it to Atlanta. It's all on Fulmer and the players to take advantage of our position and give us something to cheer about. The way NCAA Football is going this year, we just might make it.


Something else I wanted to say. As a student I apologize for the wave that people tried to start last night when we were only up by 14. Some people just don't get it.

My Blood always has and always will runneth ORANGE.

I will always pull for them to Win. Win the SECCG. Win a Bowl.

But this is because I am a devout UT Fan. Bottom Line is that I would feel a lot better when they have EARNED IT.

Right Now I am Not Sure that they are Deserving of a Liberty Bowl or a Music City Bowl. Anything else might give us unwanted Exposure. In other words, it is difficult to Spin this into a Positive Light.

This Season reveals that we have serious problems at UT. Much National Media Attention Given to Coaching and Defense at UT. Think this will affect Recruiting???

Maybe I'm negative - but unless our pass defense improves I think our chance of making the SECCG would have USC beating Florida and Georgia knocking off Kentucky but losing to Auburn. Because right now we can't beat Kentucky unless Woodson gets hurt.

Which isn't really a super farfetched scenario.

oh come on. who in college football besides lsu and osu have earned their spots?

I think there is room for improvement. Not using it as an excuse, but the freshman still have room to grow.

If MSU could do it...
