How does everyone feel about this. Something different to discuss Do you pull for certain other SEC teams when they are not playing UT? I used to, but every other fanbase in the conference has done nothing but kick us while we are down constantly the last ten years. Certain fans even seem to relish UT fans misery as much or more than their own team's success. There is no SEC Brotherhood to me. Maybe there used to be. They can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned. What are your thoughts?

Vandy is the only other SEC I pull for, I like seeing them win some games, just not against us. I mainly pull for them cause I had to have a bunch or surgeries growing up and all of them were at Vanderbilt Hospital, so I have a bit a spot for them because of that.

I like a few teams in the west but Bama, Auburn, Mississippi (both) and the rest of the east can FOAD. Idk why we think conference strength matters when clearly it doesn’t.,

Screw the rest of the SEC. I root for the opposing team in most ever OOC game, unless they are playing Ohio State, MI or ND. The only time I root for an SEC team other than UT is when one is playing Bama.

I was about to rip on you and post a photo of Cafego, but then I continued reading and you have a pretty valid reason.

I still hate Vandy though.

It depends, But I will never hope for a UF win. In any sport.

Unless UF happens to play Mu**ay State.:p Wish there were still ties for that one.

Im an LSU fan by marriage. It's a casual relationship. I dont know their team like i do UT. Attended one game in Death Valley. It's a fun time.

I kinda like Auburn because they hate the Gumps more than we do.

I root for any team playing UF or Bama.

When UT gets back in the playoff picture, I'd imagine most will be pulling for SEC teams to win most OOC match ups. For example, beating UF would have looked better in the eyes of the committee if they had beaten Michigan in 18. If the SEC gets the reputation as a bad league, our champion could get left out of the playoff which means the other SEC teams get slotted down in the bowl picture. A strong league is good for championship considerations and good for revenue.

Very few were pulling for us when we were in the hunt year in and year out. Why would I pull for them? Not that it matters, I wouldn't be an SEC rah-rah guy either way.

No SEC fan here, only TN. Other SEC team's success does nothing to help us, so I'm not pulling for that.

UT has to help itself. The SEC’s reputation will take care of everything else.

The conference is at a point where our reputation can get two teams in the playoff.

It’s up to the other 12 schools not named Alabama or Georgia to compete for one of those spots.

If SEC teams lost all of their OOC games, what good does that do for the conference?

The UGA fan gets it.

Hell no. I root against every SEC team every time they play...unless they're playing Ohio State. I would pull for Alabama against Ohio State.

I’m no rah-rah SEC guy either, but I do like having more than one legit national title contender just about every year, even if one of those teams is Georgia.

At some point it will be UF, Auburn, LSU or UT again.

Brothers (sister too as I have found watching two of my granddaughters) they will fight and cuss each other to hell and back. BUT,, cross one and watcher out for the other you are gonna have both to contend with. This is the way the SEC should be.

and once we're good again, and it matters that the teams we've beaten need to look good the rest of way, i'll be back on board with the SEC chanting.

until then, screw all of you.
