It's easy not to get blown out when your schedule is littered with directional schools. The tougher your schedule, the more likely you are to have bad losses (and big wins).

Not defending Fulmer, but does this take in account how many years a coach has been with a team?

This stat goes back 5 years. Although I think it's a little subjective calling a 14 point loss a blowout.

We're splitting hairs here, but I'm with you on this one. I've always considered a blowout to be a 3 score margin of victory, so 17 points would do it for me.

A late TD can make a 14 point game a lot closer or in some cases not as close as it really was.

14-0, 21-7, 28-14, 35-21, doesn't sound like blowouts.

21-0, 28-7, 35-14, 42-21, sounds a little like one.

14 points to me, is no way a blow out.

UT-Cal was most certainly a blowout. If the Golden Bears had managed to recover another of their meaningless onside kicks, they might have brought the final difference to 14 or less.

Considering Cal scored with 9 seconds left on a QB draw, and scored another meaningless TD.

Tenn vs Cal was a blowout, because of the circumstances.

Yeah, more than 3 TDs is a blowout, and believe me, I've watched plenty of them.

65-0, 73-7 at the hands of Spurrier.

51-35, though, is not a blowout.
