The best thing that can happen is the Vols make it to the SEC Championship and somehow win!!! Fulmer will get his SEC Title and retire in style. I know this is a long shot especially if we have to play LSU, but with the way the college football season has gone who knows.

well I find myself wanting to disagree with you but you're right...whatever happens from here on out it won't suprise me.

If we win the SEC... there is no way hamilton is gonna let go of fulmer... fulmer has to step down on his own... which i dont think will happen...

I seriously wish florida loses one more... we need some cushion for the way we are playing.... i think auburn will beat GA... can spurrier outcoach meyer?? i dont think so...

I would be happy to get over this season with no more regular season losses.... Go vols...

I'm pulling for Bama to beat LSU
Then if we win out, we play Bama, and I don't think they can beat us twice

Before the season started, he was quoted in an article in the Tennessean saying he wanted to coach another 6 to 8 years. He's not going anywhere voluntarily at the end of this season.

May be i need to start reading the coaching for dummies and register for coachin 101.... by the time he retires... i might get a chance

This is how I see the SEC East shaping up
1.UT
2.UF
3.USC
4.UK/UGA
5.UGA/UK
6.Vandy

Very homorish, but possible, unless we lose to UK, then it could come down to UF and UK and with a thing or two turning up USC is right back in, UGA is in a good spot, but I've yet to be impressed by them. But LSU will probably hand it to us for the SEC title

UGA may have the easiest road, but Stafford can take them nowhere. UK has collapsed a bit and I don't see them overcoming the defeat yesterday, UF is the most talented but their lack of a defense and a runningback holds them back greatly now that Tebow has been beaten up, Vandy may still have an upset or two left in them, USC needs a good qb until, then they will struggle against a solid team. UT has the best road with Arky, Vandy, and UK. We could get destroyed in all 3 or win in all 3. I've liked UK all year, but it seems that they are slipping now, and Arky is 2 players away from being one of the worst BCS conference schools out there, I think Vandy could be the biggest concern on there.

If we beat Arkansas I will start thinking about the prospect of us making it to the SEC Championship game.

YES. emphatically yes. Especially if Meyer tries those stupid, sissy trick plays where Teabag lines up as a receiver and the ball gets snapped over the RB's head.

Spurrier > Meyer

The only advantage that little whiny &$%^ Urban has is the athleticism of his players.

it's still a long road bro. if we gave up 3 TD's to SC, what will we do on the road against Big Blue?

If Fulmer were to win the SC this season, I could see him retiring, possibly. That way he can go out on top and end on a great note. He should know at this point it probably wont get any better than that.
