I have had 8 season tickets for about 15 years. I got a text from UT after the Kentucky game about SEC championship tickets. I can only get 2 tickets to game. I'm very pissed and I called and told them what they could do with those 2 tickets.:finger3: :censored:

It's a simple math issue. There's going to be a lot of disappointed season ticket holders like yourself.

i'm confused. you think every season ticket holder should get the exact # of tickets for the title games, or have the option? that makes no sense. you got two schools with stadiums that hold 90-100k + fans, there's no way to do that for both schools season ticket holders for a stadium that holds about 60% of what each teams home stadiums hold.

basically....it's math.

I know it's been a while since purchasing tix to the SECCG was an issue, but there's a fairly simple explanation. Each teams' ticket allotment in the Dome is a little over 35k. Take out about a few hundred to a thousand for complimentary purposes (such as the band), and there's maybe 34k to go around.

ETA: Take out the suites that are privately held and it's even less than that.

70,000+ season ticket holders and Tennessee probably gets around 15-20K tickets to SECCG. Do the math. You were not being disrespected.:no:

I'm Trazilblazer - Hoping I get my 2 but not banking on it. Atleast they will let us know on the 22nd if they are fulfilled. I hope with the limited window to sell them the number of people buying them to make a profit will be reduced.

Has anyone requested today or yesterday? My AllVols invoice has numbers on it under "Seating Information" Says 155-156. Curious as to if this was the request count at the time. My request was made shortly after the email Saturday.

Alabama fans have been buying sec title game tickets since 1992 -- they have about 80% of the tickets every year

mine says 1254-1255 and I requested on Sunday afternoon.

The fact that this thread is back on the front page of the Football forum is something we should all be thankful for. Been a long time since we have this discussion.
