Who do you guys like in this game?

Arkansas doesn't have much offense if you get an early lead and force them to pass the ball.

Arkansas has a couple of great running backs, good blockers, a couple of good receivers, but absolutely NO passing game. Why the coach replaced the freshman QB with the Casey Dick was a bonehead move by Houston Nutt. Florida shouldn't have much trouble with the Hogs.

If the Hogs can run all over LSU, they can run on Florida.

Florida's offense isn't playing half as well as LSU is or can.

It seems to beat Arkansas, you let the LB's and Safeties focus on stopping McFadden.

Not sure why Arkansas was able to pass the ball against UT since they struggle to pass against anyone else. All water under the bridge, but they looked ordinary against LSU.

I thought Mustain was suppose to be the 2nd coming. Dont understand why Nutt likes Dick more then Mustain.

I think as McFadden has gotten healthier and become more the focus of the offense, Nutt probably figures there's less need to risk putting a true freshman QB out there.

Dick was 3 of 17 for 29 yards against LSU. You cant beat anyone in this league with that kind of passng game.

No doubt he was pathetic . . . but it was like Nutt reached the end of his rope with Mustain during the SC game. He threw a pick and hasn't been heard from since.

I just have trouble believing a 1 dimensional Arkansas team is going to beat Florida. I think Meyer will come up with some defensive scheme to slow down McFadden.

Maybe a 4-4, but a one dimensional team isn't unstoppable. I'm really disappointed UT didn't do a better job against Arkansas.

Arkansas was toying with UT... just when you think you've got McFadden figured out, they lobbed it up to Monk... and there was nothing the Vols could do. Oye.

I wouldn't call Arkansas your typical one dimensional team though. They run more trick plays, end arounds, reverses and weird personnel packages than any run oriented offense I've ever seen.

They alluded to it a couple of times on TV, but it was shocking how easily they were able to consistently get the corner on those Wide Receiver Sweeps against a defense as fast as LSU.

FSU tried that against UT in 98 in the championship game. A smart DC should have everyone on the team prepared for that, especially when you have time to prepare for it, and shut that down.

It's the 12th game of the season and LSU is probably the best defense in the SEC; coached by one of the brightest DC's in America . . . and they got 300 yards rushing hung on them.

Arkansas is just that good running the football.

Definitely going to be an interesting game...all depends on if the Hogs can get a more balanced attack. If they rush for 300 yds and cant pass for more than 30 again....then they'll be in trouble for sure.

thats all true and good points.

florida has a good secondary, they did well against UT's passing game, I think they will easily shut down arkansas's passing game. They wont shut down McFaddon, he will get his yards, but Florida can slow him down enough to outscore them.

That is the way you would think this would play out except for some reason Florida has had serious issues scoring points this year. I think they are averaging somewhere just above 20 in SEC play.

I think thats the effect of leak trying to be a pocket passer in a spread option offense.

Yep, UF avgs 20.3 ppg of scoring offense a game, while Arky avgs. 23.4. Total ydg. tilts in Arky's favor as well by 17ypg.

On paper, the game should be close in Arky's favor, but I think UF has more at stake and will pull it out at the end, imho.

I think Arkansas will win. They can run the ball at will, and consideriing they lost by five with their qb having an awful game to a very talented lsu team...theyre pretty darn good. And you know Dick cant do worse then 3-17. He was able to school us (wade) pretty good.
