Yeah , one team could go into a big game with half the team ineligible or both teams might have to resort to PWO’s having to play. I do not see anyway we can have a legitimate 2020 season. It’s best to push it back to the spring.
Push it back to the spring and the junior's and senior's that have decent draft grade will skip the season and train for the draft. 2020 season played anyway will be a disaster.

I am now convinced there will be no college football this year.
I’m convinced also. But, I can’t figure out how a major university can just give up $100 million in revenue. They have coaches and staff to pay. Universities don’t have a rainy day fund.
I’m just going to sit back and see what happens. What I think doesn’t matter.

Yeah, theres a lot of issues with this. Not that it isnt the right thing to do, but many questions to be answered. And I can see it now, player plays, gets sick, shows texts where coach "pressured" them to play. I just think there are many questions here.
Don't get your concern or questions.

What questions could there be over players keeping their scholarship? They keep them regardless of if they play, choose not to play, or feel pressured to play.

It's more about the eligibility aspect. If a player chooses not to play, and has already redshirted, do they lose a year of eligibility?

I see a boatload of grad transfers with immediate eligibility coming up in the near future. Could be a free agent free for all
