Likely discussing what SEC does in the ripples of other conferences canceling or going conference only scheduling...

Cannot count on these other conferences to hold steady. Play 13 conference games and make an immediate schedule to help negotiate some type of a early tv schedule. Play a few Friday night games, then the rest staggered out on Saturday's.

Bold and unrealistic, but a man can dream.

A thirteen game SEC schedule would be fair to all SEC schools. However, I do not believe that may games will be played next season. Also, what, if anything, would happen in the post season? Would there be a playoff between the Power 5 Conference winners? We all know, they will be looking for as many TV games as possible , just for the TV revenue.

Within a framework of being able to play games, control what you can control...SEC slate only.

CBS wrote that this was a scheduled meeting and no decisions were likely to be made. Wouldnt expect big news.
