Tell me the order you think the SEC teams will finish in the conference East and West

Heres mine:

EAST:
1.) UF- another good talented team
2.) UT- Battling with UF for top spot with talented team
3.) USC- Could surprise a few teams, another year and we will be there
4.) GA- Falling to mediocre teams
5.) UK- Descent but not enough for the SEC
6.) Vandy- another rebuilding year

WEST:
1.) Auburn- Irons cant be stopped, another great team
2.) LSU- good team with alot of potential
3.) Arkansas- mcfadden, jones, and dick= mediocre success
4.) Ole Miss- Brent Schaffer will beat a couple of good teams
5.) Alabama- another year like last year even with Saban
6.) MSU- just not a good chemistry team, alot of talent with no chemistry and lack of coaching will land you at the bottom

I'd say Tennessee, Florida and Georgia are 1a, 1b, and 1c in the East depending on how the ball bounces. SC might sneak up to 3rd, but don't underestimate how tough Kentucky is going to be with one of the best QBs in the league.

It is quite hard to argue with much of what you put up there. Except your placement of USC.

EAST:
1. UF
2. UT
3. UGA
4. Vandy
5. USC
6. UK

WEST:
1. Arkansas
2. Auburn
3. Alabama
4. LSU
5. Ole Miss
6. MSU

Oh I can find an argument for Auburn to be in the bottom of the SECW and Alabama to be at the top.

You really think that Saban is going to make that big a difference? LSU and Arkansas are still going to be LSU and Arkansas next year.

Alabama was the 4th best statistical team in the SEC last season, loses hardly anyone of note (Ken Darby), will have the best QB/WR combo in the league, and THEN added Nick Saban.

I would have predicted Alabama to win 8-9 games WITH Mike Shula in 2007. Saban is icing. LSU will miss Russell, Bowe, and Davis A LOT, but I could honestly still see them taking the West. Kind of a crap shoot up at the top.

Arkansas - I just have a feeling the offensive line was really important to their success, moreso than the backs they have. Plus, all that internal strife is screaming for a lackluster season. I could be really wrong on Arkansas, though.

I think LSU will be hard hit by the departure of Russell and Bowe.

Why should I tell YOU? We have a bet!

Haha, but yes, Arkansas loses both starting tackles and their best starting guard. Also, they lose 7 defensive players, including 3 on the defensive line, their best 2 LBs, and their best corner.

 I revise my ranking of them. I was aware of the defensive losses, but not the oline losses. McFadden is good, but he wont put up similar numbers with a new line and 9 guys in the box.

Not to mention Jimbo Fisher.

Who did they get as the new OC, anyway?

They hired oregon's OC. Let's just say most oregon fans weren't in tears over him leaving.

edit: of course auburn has cal's OC from it's 2001 team that had one of the worst ranked offenses in the country.

I have some other SEC and some non-conf predicitons, as well.

1) Miami will continue to hurl itself pointlessly against a wall of despair. No bowl game this year.
2) FSU will shows signs of improvement, but then fade like cheap paint and go to a pre-Jan. 1 bowl.
3) The SEC championship game loser will not go to a BCS game.
4) The SEC winner will not play for an NT. This is because the SEC winner will have two losses.
5) The ACC will produce one of the NT game teams.

Who in the ACC, since it's not going to be Miami or FSU according to you, will be playing for the NC next season? Wake Forest?

Very interesting.

I have a feeling that USC will be back in the BCSNCG this season.

You think Florida will have two losses?

BC actually should be pretty good, so could Clemson. FSU once again has the best talent.

If Jimbo Fisher can straighten out FSU's offense, I could see them winning/running away with the ACC.
