It’s been big business for a long time now. We just added the NIL and xfer portal in the past few years. That was the final piece to the business model puzzle.

Just out of curiosity-

Anybody know what the numbers were like in the midst of our dysfunction-2018 or so?

I would imagine the waiting list is a recent thing

Most of these tickets were sold before the Nico announcement and most of our defensive backs hitting the portal and our staff not being able to pick up anyone good in the portal. Enough said.

Are you trying to say they would not have sold if the sale was taking place today.

You are an idiot. They’d sell just the same. A couple defectors isn’t going to break the passion for UT football

Any reason the number of season tickets are capped at 70,500? They obviously didn't have that cap in 2016. Does Ticketmaster get the remaining tickets to sell as single game tickets?

Students and band need seats for the game.

Students and band is a big chunk of the cap. I imagine they also may want to have some single game tickets to sell.
