Season Game By Game Predictions

I used to date a girl from Florida who always wore skimpy cut-off jean shorts. The only thing I can remember about them is how easy they came off.

that kind is different!! there's nothing wrong with female cut-offs as long as they're short enough!

UT beaten more easily by Kentucky than Florida.... That is a remarkable position to take. I have to give you credit for having the courage of your convictions.
Like I said, UK returns over 60 lettermen and the best offense in the conference. UT gets UF early with only 35 returning lettermen and your D heavily dependent on underclassmen who've never played at the college level

Nothing about convictions... and I'm not a prophet. I'm just looking at the realities as they exist right now.

Performance as you know is a function of alot of things. Talent eventually overcomes experience but the disparity in talent between UT and UF is small if significant at all. Both have more raw athletes than UK but they have a ton of experienced players.

I know you brought up criticism of the OL earlier st, but what about the DL? That is more of an area of concern for me because if the DL cannot stop the run and get to the QB the LBs will have to be more involved in those phases and therfore put more pressure on an inexperienced secondary.

I think DT and not DL in general is a problem and potentially a big one. I think UT has 3 guys who will produce there but need one or two more. Mapu is supposedly back to form and then some. If so, that's solid. Dan Williams and Bolden should be serviceable if not better... but the problem comes after them.

The reviews on Langley in the spring were pretty good but that's alot to ask of a Freshman. (and UF is asking it of alot of freshmen which is why I'm not so high on them until they prove it). Fisher makes me nervous unless he gained 20 lbs. A DT at 265 is hopelessly outmatched by virtually everyone they face.

BTW, I personally like UT's DE's. They're good athletes and fairly deep.

William Brimfield could also get some time and add some bulk at DT... but again, that's alot to ask of a Freshman.

if we beat UF and lose to KY, i better wake up in some bizzaro world where the sky is green, the grass is blue, Duke Football is hte program to beat and CLemson has the best basketball program in the country.

I don't think UT will lose to either. However I do believe this will be the best UK team in... well, maybe school history.

7-5 and a bid to the Toilet Bowl. We could also very easily lose to South Carolina to go 6-6.

Well, I'm batting a thousand on my preseason predictions for UT so far. How are the rest of you doing? Of course, I would now definitely say that we'll lose to South Carolina (I previously just said that we could very easily lose to them) and Kentucky.

Hey, is this Pete Rose?
