Season from here on out & Goals for rest of year

Who on our schedule do we beat? Trying to figure out a scenario where we go bowling and I can't find one.

OHIO - yeah
Memphis - yeah
KY - maybe
Vandy - maybe
Bama - no
Ga - no
SC - no
Ole Miss - no
Florida - no
Auburn - no

I don't think you can do that at this point. Just resign yourself to the fact that our talent is what it is and we are going to play in some ugly games this year. We'll probably win 1 or 2 that we shouldn't and lose 1 or 2 that we shouldn't. I still say 7 wins one way or the other.

We're not likely to have 4 TOs in every single game and our offense should improve - whether or not that means just not turning it over or whatever....

Auburn and USCjr are maybes. Georgia is beatable. Ole Miss could possible be beatable - just depends on if they actually live up to their hype - if they do - then no chance.

It was a bad day for the VOLNATION on the football field but this is week #2.

After week #1, some where proclaiming we were back. Incorrect.

After week #2, some believe we are going to fail completely and somehow be worse than '08. Incorrect.

I just do not see the staff letting this team lose to the likes of a team like Wyoming. This team may be low on talent and have a starting QB with issues, but they didn't quit and lay down.

We have a long way to go, we just need to be more realistic along the way.

1) Make it to a bowl game; any bowl game

2) Continue to recruit well and keep the current recruits they have from scattering to other teams (a la what alot of the talent did during the last season)

that's it. this season's a success if they can do those

Come on man, we will get better. We had 4 freaking turnovers. He will not stick with Crompton forever.

Good post. We can't realistically expect to compete for championships until Kiffin has had a couple of years to rebuild the talent on the roster.

Keep in mind that even a 6-6 season would be an improvement over last year.

yeah i am just shooting for a bowl this year as my goal for this team.... all you could hope for really.... anything more to me is a reach

and don't take anything personal guys...this is a forum and this is a discussion topic

ga looks good to me
sc is much improved....garcia and their OL look legit
