Fans have their favorite in mind and no one else is good enough (just see all the NOs they type by any other candidate). This is like Bernie supporters who take their ball and go home if he is not selected
Then you have the never Trump types that are adamant in their opposition to guys like Kiffin (and the horrible choice that started the revolt on Sunday)
In the end there are a few Home run hires which we would be great to have but low chance or getting (ala Peterson) but there several who might be good or at least acceptable if we end up with one of them then we need to close ranks and rally behind them. Show support as the leader of our team but hold accountable for results on the field
