I haven't played it. But I'm curious, how long has it been since you've played? It seemed pretty sparse at first, but I know several folks that went back to it recently and said the new content they've added has made a No Man's Sky like transformation to it.I found the gameplay loop boring. The water looks amazing though.

I've been seriously considering jumping from PS to Xbox. So I'm doing a deep dive on the opinions of the exclusives.
If you spent half the effort talking about things you like as you do telling other people why you don't like the things they like you'd have a lot more time on your hands.LOL Inevitably I hear some people on either side say this at the beginning of EVERY generation. Why "jump"? Just save up and own both. Each platform is going to have games you'll want to play the other one doesnt have and you'll wish you hadn't given one up to get the other.
I'm just not a fan of perpetual sandbox "create your own adventure" games. I get bored with them. I much prefer narrative-based games with a beginning, middle, and end to them. (Probably why PlayStation is my preferred platform as that is their specialty). Even No Man's Sky, as commendable as it is that the dev has added so much content, its still the same old boring (to me) gameplay loop over and over. Fly to planet, mine resources, trade for credits, upgrade ship, etc, rinse and repeat. My "ADD" personality doesnt jive well with those kinds of games.
Well first of all, JC asked me. Second, why do you give a sh_t? Do you get some kind of pleasure out of busting my chops? For years you have literally responded to every one of my posts with some kind of snarky, smart ass comment. If you have such a problem with me, put me on ignore and be done with it. It certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings, prick! If you spent half the effort talking about things you like as you do telling other people why you don't like the things they like you'd have a lot more time on your hands.
I'm sorry. I'll send you a Whitman's sampler to smooth this over.Well first of all, JC asked me. Second, why do you give a sh_t? Do you get some kind of pleasure out of busting my chops? I generally prefer single player games. NMS was an exception for me. I played the heck out of it after they fixed it. I finally bogged down after getting my capital ship up to snuff. I tend to switch consoles gen to gen and game pass plus all of Microsoft's new studios has me thinking I will again. But I haven't decided yet.LOL Inevitably I hear some people on either side say this at the beginning of EVERY generation. Why "jump"? Just save up and own both.
