10 best Tennessee players exiting spring

Good list but I disagree with the names at the bottom. IMO you gotta have Darrin Kirkland Jr. on the list. He might be better than JRM next year.

I'd probably go:

1. QB Josh Dobbs
2. RB Jalen Hurd
3. CB Cam Sutton
4. DE Derek Barnett
5. LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
6. RB Alvin Kamara
7. WR Preston Williams
8. LB Darrin Kirkland Jr.
9. KR Evan Berry
10. DT Shy Tuttle

FYP.

Just messing with you, really not a bad list. I'm not sure DK jr can be as good as JRM next year, probably not better.

I think people forget sometimes that we have the nation's best kick returner and what an asset and difference maker he can be.

As of now I'd put Hurd , Sutton , and Barnett over dobbs but he does have the most potential on the team to be a superstar .

I am interested in the shape of Shy Tuttle after the injury, if they can get him into a 2nd year college lifting body like KM our DLINE is going to be nasty.

This^ + K-Mac 'cause we have 11 solid ballers and it could be his breakout year,

Feels great to have more than 10 players who deserve to be Top 10.

Been a long time since we've had that problem.

"Best" is tough to define but my list would be:
1. Barnett
2. JRM
3. Hurd
4. Sutton
5. Dobbs
6. DKjr
7. Kamara
8. Thomas
9. Berry
10. Preston
With Trevor Daniel being a deserving honorable mention.

Substitute Malone for Kirkland and it's fine.

What would be your reasoning for putting Malone in over Kirkland? Malone hasn't done anything special since coming to UT as a 5 star recruit. He's been a big underachiever. Kirkland was a major contributor last season to the defense living up to & beyond his 4 star recruit status right away as a freshman last season.

No way in my opinion that Malone deserves to be in over Kirkland. I do hope that Malone though can step up & prove to be that guy we thought & he is supposed to be as a top notch WR. We need him to show & play up to his abilities. He wasn't a 5 star recruit for nothing.

Hopefully everyone comes back healthy and we don't have to sub out a stud.

We're due for a low injury season...long overdue!

Malone is our leading/most productive returning WR this year. The list is subjective to be sure, but I don't think it's far-fetched to see him as one of our top 10 players thus year. Should he be there "over Kirkland"? I don't know, perhaps not, but he certainly could legitimately be on the list. Jmo.

If you read article you would see that I want Malone (out) and Kirkland (in) just as the stated. i should've said "with Kirkland" I suppose.

Yeah, I think it was how you worded it that threw me off. That's ok because things like that happen over the internet buddy.

I guarantee he wins us a game this year by himself. And it very well may be one of those extremely close games we seem to always have with UGA or Florida recently. Nothing would be sweeter than breaking that damn Florida streak with a 100 yard kickoff return.
