We always seem to land some great receivers and DB's from time to time and especially running backs and athletes. Why in the world can we not get a top notch QB anymore?? What is it the players see or don't see that is preventing us from being a school known for having GREAT QB's?? :ermm:

Goodness gracious. Volnation do you not know we are on a mission from God almighty? We will get the best QB for our team. We are destined. The football Gods have shone mercy on us. we will be the titans of old. No weapon formed agenst us shall prosper .Any thing we do will prosper. for we are the might vols.

"Defense wins championships." Chuck Noll

"The game will be won in the trenches by the big boys up front!" Bear Bryant

"Speacial Teams decide field position and the team that controls field position will win the game today!"
Vince Lombardi

"The team that runs the ball and controls the clock will win the game!" Don Shula

"Offense sells tickets but Defense wins championships!"
Joe Paterno

Tee Martin showed that all these statements are true!

Our recruits are superior O and D linemen, #1 running back, # 1 Fields Goal/Punter. Thanks Coaches Gran,O,and Monte for building a foundation for championships!

We will get a championship quarterback just like Tee Martin. Do not worry.

It is and it isn't. It says that there's no politics, the best player plays no matter what. For someone who isn't afraid of competition that says to him that both USC and Tennessee offer the possibility to be a starter from day one. What Tennessee offers is the ability to be a starter from day one without having to compete for it.

That will not happen. Kiffin has allready made it clear everybody competes. Nobody is an automatic. And this whole deal about USC's backups make it to the league to. While there maybe some truth in that, what elite athelete wants to or is satisfied sitting on the bench or holding a clip board. If he does/is, I don't want him.

Geez...did anyone else not see all of the dropped passes in that vidoe??? Pretty bad on the receivers considering it was no pads. His throws were all right on the money, though.

It looked like he threw the ball so hard it bounced off them. He has some really good zip on the ball with his shorter passes.

and Nunes was during a coaching change, you just proved his point.
Not really. Nunes decommitted right after the Florida game in September with absolutely no idea about Fulmer being fired a month and a half later...

Correct. He didn't like all the booing during the game. He also said that distance was a factor. He apparently had a family emergency during one of his visits and had several delays getting home.

I like a kid that's not scared of competition, but if he goes to USC and gets beat out by Barkley, he'd just want to transfer the next year. So, why not walk right in to Tenn. and make a splash with all the rest of the new talent we're getting? Doesn't make sense to me if he decides to go to USC .

I got the impression from an interview that I read about him that having his family be able to watch him play is big for him. Doesn't sound like they can afford to make the cross country trip. As much as I think he would excel at UT, I think he goes to USC. Hope that I am wrong.

somebody needs to get jacques smith out there to talk some sense into him...

so true rasputin, so true...:ermm:

They have each others phone numbers and I'm sure Jacques is trying his best to make the case for him to come to UT.
