Scrimmage Stats

So are we to discredit his 3* by Rivals yet? Georgia's 5A Player of the Year....hugely underrated. He don't have a blazing 40 time, so according to Rivals, he can't play. Hope he keeps working to improve.

being GA's player of the year carries more weight than his stars IMO

I just hope this wasnt a preview of things to come for Crompton again, who is notoriously amazing in practice but terrible in game time situations. His bad play could be the reason this coaching staff doesnt succeed, and i hope to eric berry thats not the case

No doubt. After averaging 2.9 yards per carry, Hardesty has earned A LOT of rest.

That was one scrimmage. He's been solid otherwise. Kiffin has publicly praised him after every practice. The practice I watched he was by far our most impressive back. How do you know that 2.9 ypc didn't come from situational plays? Since Kiffin said Hardesty was already solid with the offense they may have only ran him in situational dirlls, such as short yardage plays or goal line sets. If I were basing my opinions of running backs on scrimmage stats only, Jabari Davis and that fourth string guy we used to have that switched to DB would be All-Americans.

The turnovers are something we're going to have to work on," Crompton said. "It's something we have to emphasize because you can't win games in the (Southeastern Conference) doing that."

Awe me......why does this guy get air time. I will feel better when I hear Coleman get the mike....."We were on track today as a unit, and we really played 4 quarters of solid offense".....

I think we very easily had the #1 RB class in the nation. Williams is a 3 star who looks to be a stud. Oku is the #1 all purpose back in the nation, and Bryce Brown is the highest rated RB in the past 5 years which is higher than #1 rated RBs like Beenie Wells, Jonathon Stewart, and Joe McKnight...

We WERE the #1 RB class in the nation according to Rivals

Thank you! That post was just all kinds of ignorant. If he can stay healthy, I really think he could have a great year given the emphasis on the run that this offense seems to have. Unfortunately, that one "if" has proven to be rather large these last few years.

I have a funny felling that this coaching staff isn't going to "forget" him on the sidelines this year.

Williams wasn't even a high 3*. I believe he was the lowest rated guy in the whole class (5.5)... all the more reason to hope he "shocks" the experts. I feel the same way about Hughes and Poole.

FWIW, it is perfectly natural for the D to be ahead of the O. I hope they stay ahead with the O being challenged up to the point they take the field against WKU... I hope UT's D makes them feel like actually playing an opposing D is giving them a break.
