I will be the first to say I TOLD YOU SO when Clausen starts against UAB. Lets see....started as 1st string QB today, better stats, um.

Can you believe the center Lignon got hurt????

It seems every year one position gets devasted.

To me, thats the big news from this scrimmage. We are down to the 3rd string center now.

yeah, but it's just a sprain. CPF said he'll be ready by UAB. So will Gandy. But I feel your fear

Isn't Gandy the true first teamer??

Not for sure yet, but Gandy is likely the starter.

I heard from some sources that he is already playing as good if not better than the rest of the corners on the team. I mean, I'm all for redshirting freshmen, but if he really is head and shoulders above the rest of the team, put him in.

I am pleased to see that Briscoe is picking up where he left off in the Orange/White game. Anyone think that he will get much playing time this year? I for one, think that they should give him a shot if things don't work out as expected.

If nothing else, it's nice to see the young guy putting some pressure on our experienced WR's.

I'm betting you'll be second. I've got a little bet on here. :nener:

The Center injury worries me, especially with Gandy still "gimpy" according to CPF. Makes you wonder if he won't continue to rehab for the UAB and following week?

Good numbers for the QB's and receivers (I hope they're just that good and/or the secondary was taking it easy on them. . . .)

Colquitt 2 for 2 on longish field goals -- nice to see. (still insist he's not a kicker 67?)

So far, Wilhoit has been booming them. He's had a few over 50, so his foot must be better. I have a feeling that we're going to need him on our trips to UF and LSU.

High ankle sprains can be brutal, though. If he tries to come back for the UAB game, I bet he's hampered by this injury all year. Hopefully, he'll be able to stay off of it until it comes time to prepare for Florida.

I just read where Fulmer is already thinking about starting Douglas or Smith at center if need be, and start the freshman Ramon Foster at the Tackle.

Again, this is only if he has to.
