Did Creer get his yards against a 1st or 2nd team defense? Anyone know?

Mostly 2nd. He may have gotten a few carries against the 1st team but the majority, incluiding the 2 long runs, were against second team.

I'm not sure what defense it was but I know there were times on the WBIR video I saw that Berry was chasing him and he got leveled once by McKenzie so, had to be no worse than 2nd team.

The interesting thing is, the 2nd defense probably has a lot of eventual starters on it, i.e. Berry, McKenzie, etc.

Yea. Him and Bolden played the majority of the first team snaps.

Mayo was giving the DTs praise for their play. Its not like DTs make a bunch of tackles anyways. There main job is to free up the LBs and they did that.

Senior linebacker Jerod Mayo’s move to middle linebacker from weakside, where he played last season, seems to be going well. Mayo had six tackles and a sack on Saturday. Mayo credited UT’s defensive tackles for helping ease the transition.
“When you have guys like Demonte Bolden and J.T. Mapu playing that well,” Mayo said, “it makes it a lot easier.”
