It was okay at best. I can say I had no clue who the killer was until revealed.

The funny thing is that Scream itself was somewhat of a parody of the horror/slasher genre; it then became what it was parodying with its sequelitis.

Same, and I think quite a few were in the same boat in the theater based on their reactions
