I believe he was rumored to be interviewing for strong's staff at Louisville. I haven't seen where it has been confirmed, but at this point it wouldn't surprise me.

I think (and hope) this is an old article and they are referring to him being gone from AL.

If true oh well sucks to lose him but if he wants to go let him go. Kiffin said they were working on a new contract for Lance that's the last I heard of it.

Maybe....just maybe....the staff knows some serious NCAA stuff is about to "hit the fan".

Just curious???????

It's a post from the Scout forum by some random guy.

It is NOT a headline on the Scout page. Learn to read, thanks.

Every time someone leaves a company for a better position with better pay, the previous company is in big time danger.

I know the wait for someone to actually want to hire your beloved Fulmer is taking a long time, but don't take it out on us with your negative, unsubstantiated crap.

There are no bigger Vol supporters than Phil and Vickie Fulmer. He just got a little lazy and stagnant. Did a lot for this program and I wish them well. However, it was time for him to go, IMHO. GO VOLS!!!

Kiffin did seem to infer that LT wouldn't really be traveling this week (as much as CEO, Monte, and himself) which leads me to believe they know he may be gone

Then that's like being a "little pregnant." The man's recklessness and fetid attention to detail to anything other than his bank account sent my team into an atomic death spiral, and I, for one, do not appreciate it.

Phil just hasn't sounded supportive of late, right? That's him getting into his TV character maybe?

I like Fulmer..alot....but the time had come for him to go. Got it! but He did make UT a winner and turned them into a household name....something that had been so since the 50's! Give the man 'some' credit!

ask yourself the question....3 staff members (off of a 7-5 team) leaving for different jobs....is something going on that we don't know about? that was my only question.

if they weren't leaving for raises and title upgrades, then you might have a point. If you hire good people, other organizations are going to try to hire them away.

Gen Neyland turned UT into a household name. Phil had enormous talent for the first half of his career and finally stumbled into a title. He literally had about as bad of a record as he could have had with the talent at UT.

Vol fans.......most of ya suck!

2 NC's since 1950 and you think you are God's gift to football. Fulmer got lazy...that is his fault.....but without him.....Ut would not have that NC! Remember that! We should be so thankful he took over for Majors. without him....no one would be on this site complaining like we do!

Fulmer should send Stoerner a $1000 check every Christmas. Never has one man's reputation depended so much on a freak screwup made by somebody else.
