Go a different but positive direction.
Guy would be a solid hire. Took over a struggling program, plays a wicked OOC schedule. He's a QB and a proven play caller. I think would flourish on a big stage. Obviously he's emotionally connected at APSU, but makes less than $700k.
I'd say, for $3.5 million it's worth the risk. Give him a large assistant budget.
