Frost hands down. Dude is gonna crush it somewhere.

I think Mullen is a very good football coach but I think Frost is one of the next big superstar guys.

Frost

Somewhat unproven, but huge upside and certainly an improvement over Butch.

Mullen would be a clean safe hire...... But I'm not sold he can take Tennessee to the next level......frost may not either but there certainly is the chance he could be a huge hire.

Mullen. Done wonders with what he’s had in Starkville, would have better resources at UT IMO. But Frost is 2nd on my list. Both are flight risks to other schools, however (FL and Neb.), respectively.

What can Mullen do with better physical talented players? Can Frosts upswing carry into the SEC?

Slight edge, Mullen
Actually, I wouldn’t be totally upset with either

I think that Mullen has the resources at UT to eventually maintain above .500 SEC record. But I don't think that we can reasonably expect him to suddenly become a great coach. He really disappointed with poor coaching and game management last evening in the loss to Alabama.

I would definitely take Frost ahead of Mullen. He's riskier... he has more downside but he has tons more upside. And he'd probably be cheaper.

I've have to take Mullen. He's can develop QB's and is familiar with what it takes to win in this league.. Experience trumps youth in this case IMO. You'd have to think Nebraska would be the favorite to land Frost. Who knows though. Would take either. Be a instant upgrade.

Not sure about cheaper we would need to outbid Nebraska significantly but I do believe he is the first name on our list.

Mullen. He has the chops. We just had "the next big thing". I want proven track record at this level.

His proven track record is under .500 in the SEC. It's under .150 against ranked teams. If proven means that he has improved the team, Frost improved his team much more substantially and much faster.
