Saw a thread about Kyle Alexander, and it made me ask the same questions..

Where is Admiral Schofield going now that his college career is over? Overseas? NBA G League? Anyone have any ideas?

Last year he put his name in the draft process to get feedback, and he had a pretty good season..

EDIT: Just read the news about the NBA Combine Invite :)

Well he was just invited to the NBA combine so I’m guessing he starts there

Why was Kyle Alexander not invited to the NBA combine? He was projected as a possible 2nd rd pick last year, and he could project as a late 1st rounder due to his potential. Is he just going straight to the European leagues?

His skill set does not translate to the current NBA. He isn't a scorer with little to no range and isn't great on defense. His height is non-factor in this generation of players. Kevin Durant is his height and moves like a gazelle, not much need for a relatively slow, non scoring post player.

We have a great college team but we don't really have a ton of NBA level players, not many teams do so it isn't a concern. It's possible that Admiral, Grant, or Bone could develop into one but they are projects even though they are still great players. Each player has a significant hole in their skill set: Grant is undersized and isn't a great ball handler, Admiral is good from the outside and is decent at attacking the rim but he isn't great at either, and Bone probably has the best all around skill set of them all but will a team take a chance on him? The NBA is a guard driven league and we just do not have elite guard play

I think he has a future in the NBA, but it wouldn't completely surprise me if he starts out in the G-League.

I really like Alexander as a person. He started off good this year, then went downhill. He got Ricky tack fouls, but at times it seemed he didn't have his heart into the game. He may make it overseas, but I honestly think he gives it up and goes into business or something.

Alexander will get a free agent contract from someone and I think Schofield would do well in Atlanta with Collins and Young and Huerter.
