Sure...... so if say Cutcliffe is now hired you will flip him off? OK. Our whole fan base that would have been ready to torch him for NOT hiring Gruden or (insert big name) will be saying thats a great hire due to it NOT being Schiano.
I am just POed at the head game. Does no real good to flip him off, because he can deny he did anything.
There are three kinds of coaches we have been looking at; the "home run hires", the acceptable guys where you hope for the best, and the no way in Hell guys. If we have done a poll on each one, nearly every one would have had plenty of votes in every column.
I had three being homers: Gruden (just in case he came out, the press alone would have been nuts), Patterson, and Petersen. And I knew all 3 were long shots, but if you want to be the best, you vet the best.
My Hell No guys were Chip Kelly, Petrino, and Kiffin. And when I learned about Schiano at Penn State, he got added later.
The rest? I could get behind. That included, if push came to shove, bringing back Phil. That would have been a white flag move, but I would get behind it eventually.
But this false flag crap, if that is what it really is, is nothing but garbage. In the end, if Schiano really is innocent and knew nothing, we trashed him for bull5h1t, and those who really caused it have plausible deniability. You might call them smart. Take a guess at what I call them.
