Can I get a loan of $2,500? it is very urgent You'll have it as soon as I get home this Sunday. I lost my bank card, I'll appreciate whatever amount you can come up with, if not all.I'll explain better and refund the money immediately I get back home. Please keep this between us, I'll advise on how to send it.

Wow. Scam 101: give the scamee something in return for their trouble. Offering a 0% ROI is not going to reel in any suckers.

So sorry to hear this news! No bother at all. What can I do to help? Money is a little tight, what with the wedding coming up and all, but I can send you a portion of what you are needing.
Cyprus, huh? Must be nice. Well, not that you can really enjoy it being in this predicament. I thought you were still unemployed the last time we talked? Glad to find out you finally found another job. Seems like a pretty short trip. Is this just a stopover on a cruise or something? Hope you enjoyed the first part of your trip. Sucks to lose your wallet, especially in a foreign country where you don't know anyone. Hope the money will help you out a little bit. Please advise as to where I should wire the money.

Every time I got a bogus reply for something I was selling on Craigslist I always screwed with the scammer people. I actually had one believing that I sent them the iPhone I was selling. They replied "You are a fool!" so after that I bombarded them with email after email about how I could track their IP address and that they would be hearing a knock on their door within hours by authorities. Nevertheless, I never received a response.

Thank you so much.I got mugged here and they got away with my things including my cell phone and my bank cards.I don't have access on phone here. I cant access my bank from here because they don't have local presence here. Please have it wired to me via western union money transfer. I was told its the safest and most secure way to receive money here. Send it in my Name JAMES Ford, but use this Address: 105,Hendon road, city of Nicosia, South Cyprus (Cyprus Euro) Please don't forget to send me the details, the ( MTCN ) Control Number on the payment receipt which will be given to you after making the payment I will need it to receive the money. Let me know the amount I will receive in Euros.I anxiously wait for your respond ASAP

Glad to help. I guess you didn't "lose" your wallet at all. Those dirty bastards! Preying on tourists like that. Sorry to hear you got mugged, and I hope you weren't injured in any way. At least they didn't steal your camera, or laptop. Do you have any good pictures from your trip? I would like to see some. I've never been to that part of the world before.
How much has everyone else said they are willing to send? Like I said before, I don't think I can send very much. I hope you can reach your goal of $2500. So is that $2500 Euro you need? I asked some of the guys we used to work with if they had heard from you at all and they said they hadn't. I didn't tell them about this though. Don't worry. I'm glad to know that you think you can trust me the most out of all those guys. By the way, what is the current exchange rate for the Euro? How come the phones are not working there? Are you sure that's the correct address there? I went to Western Union to try to send some money, but the address failed for some reason. Please reply with correct address so I can get this money to you.

Here's a thought. Tell him your aunt/uncle/grandma has a favorite hotel in town that they stayed at several years in a row and are well known to the hotel manager. Tell him you've authorized an advance on your credit card of $500 US but you won't approve it until you get a photo of him and the hotel manager so your aunt/uncle/grandma can verify that is the right person. All he would have to do is go to the hotel tomorrow, get the photo, email the photo to you, then go back to the hotel and wait. When he contacts you again after waiting tell him your aunt/uncle/grandma said it was the wrong person so you didn't approve the transaction.

Just a thought.

Jim,

You are ok, right? You didn't say. No injuries or anything? Don't need to send extra money for hospital stay or anything like that? I hope you are ok.
By the way, that is the address I used. Now, do I actually need to include the "City of"? Maybe that was the problem. I entered the address just like you had written. And do I need to include (Cyprus Euro)? What does that mean? Sorry, I've never had to send anything overseas before. How come it has to be James Ford? Is it for legal purposes? Jim Ford won't work?

Oh, hey, I was just reminded of that time at work when we were doing donuts out in the parking lot with Joe's new Mustang and you popped the clutch and we skidded off into the ditch. Boy, was Joe pissed! Well, I guess I understand why. It was a brand new car. Man, you were so embarrassed. Glad you guys worked out that payment plan though. Oh, and remember when Tim gave blood and then fell out of his chair when he passed out? LOL, that was some funny ****! Who was it that brought in a bike helmet for him the next day? Probably Mark. That wacky guy! That was even funnier. What do you think about JR being a pedophile? I didn't have a clue back then. Crazy! I used to bum dips off that guy all the time. Ewwwww!

Ok, let me run out to try and send this money again. Let me know if you don't get it in the next 15 minutes.

Jim,

Am I to assume that you did not receive the money? I didn't hear back from you after 15 minutes so I thought you had gotten it.I bet that idiot at the Western Union messed with the transfer and somehow switched it to his own bank account. Now that I think of it, he didn't even give me a MTCN number. I'm almost positive he probably pocketed the money. Good thing it was just a test of $10. He did seem kind of shady though. Perhaps I can do something to stop the transaction. I will go back and make sure I get a MTCN number this time. I will be sending around $250. Sorry I can't get you $2500. I don't have that kind of money on hand. I hope some others will be able to help you out.

Glad to hear you are ok too.

Oh, and you never answered about the camera. Did they take that too or can you send some pictures of the area? I would love to see them. You should have beaten those muggers with your prosthetic leg. I guess you probably just didn't want to risk getting hurt. Always better to just give it up than fight back and risk injury or death.

Oh, here's an idea, you should email your bank and let them know what's going on. I hope you at least did that so you could cancel your bank cards. Better safe than sorry. You know those muggers are going to go spend your money on hookers and beer.
