That's solely because most Vandy fans don't need the money and want to keep UT out. Wish we were the same way about Bama.

I do wish we did a better job keeping Bama fans out, but have you ever seen a UT-Vandy game in Nashville?

Anyway, my point was just that the phenomenon of having more buyers than sellers outside the stadium is actually a real thing.

Scalping is allowed at the stadium but you must be across the street from it. No scalping on sidewalks & plazas beside Neyland Stadium. If we're 3-0 going into the FL game, $200-300/tkt will be normal

Look at it like this, you are getting a ticket to probably the biggest game of the year for us. You aren't having to buy tickets to the 3 out of conference games that will be complete blowouts, and you haven't had to make a contribution to the athletic fund, so whatever you have to pay is a good deal.

Walking to the stadium last year had someone offer me $170 for my upper deck OU ticket. I passed so he asked the next 2 guys in my group. They had lower bowl tickets together and got $450 for the pair. He was working with a group and they communicate by walkie talkie. When someone comes up asking for a specific area they tell them how much it will be. If the buyer has the cash they put the word out and someone in their group finds the tickets, radios back in, then buys and swaps them out. They probably sold those 2 tickets for $475-$500
