Jim Bob Cooter, Casey Woods, Kevin Simon, Raasaan Haralson are among the casualties; those were actually schollies and will be released as use for recruiting.

Sorry, funeral arrangements are unavailable at this time.

Goodbye Grad Assistants. Jim Bob Cooter, you are gonna make it somewhere. Your name sells it for you.

Well that really sucks. Way to kick a heck of player out in Kevin Simon who gave it his all for many years even through all the injuries. Not a good move imo.

it's harsh, but almost has to be done. These guys are remnants of the past crowd and are likely to be closest to the players.

Cry me a river. Kevin Simon hasn't done a damn thing for Lane Kiffin. The last thing this program needs is a bunch of guys from the Failmer Era hanging around.

Kiffin had to rid the Football operations of every stench of Fulmer as possible. Why would he keep some guys that were coached by him and then coached under him?

Because a good portion of the fan base thinks the football program is a charity.

These guys were picked by the former staff. Unfortunately for whatever reason they do not meet the requirements and plans of the current staff. Program is undergoing a coaching/cultural change. Wish them the best.

You think the guy (or any GA) actually has a great enough impact or influence on the team to change anything? Lol - He's looking to get his coaching career going after having a career ending injury in the pros - I'm sure he's willing to adapt and learn under ANY coaching staff.

Yeah - I can see Kevin Simon now - on the sidelines golf clapping and doing the Fulmer grimace. I'm sure he just spews the essence of Fulmer on a daily basis.

I'm not really upset - just don't think it would have made a difference to keep them on since they won't be here long and GAs aren't really coaching so much... but being messenger boys if you want to call them that.... and have miscellaneous responsibilities.. mainly there to learn how things are run - you don't know what you may get out of one of them. I'd just rather not burn bridges with someone like Simon who could potentially be a heck of a coach one day.

One thing is for sure - we won't win or lose anymore games due to Kevin Simon or Jim Bob Cooter being on the sideline as a GA next year.

Kevin Simon was working in the weight room. These guys are getting FREE scholarships-no reason to fill bad for them. CLK just wants to do things HIS way!!!

inky johnson should definately not be let go. Kiffin should have at least that much respect for him and his situation and his place among the players. He is tennessee and the right thing to do would be for kiffin to tell inky hes always got a spot here at tennessee if he wants it.

Do we get to use those scholarships to add to the incoming class? If so that makes sense>

GA's have nothing to do with scholy#. These are guys working on Master's degree. I was a GA and worked in a preschool. All it does is pay for your school-graduate school that is and give you a monthly paycheck-usually not that much.
