after next season. We all thought he would go pro, but it is in stone now. Get your Eric Berry fix until the end of next season.

and thats a shocker? He is a beast and would be a first round pick this year if eligible. He would be dumb to come back his senior year.

why don't we save that judgement for when we find out who the replacement will be...enough already...like a bunch of lemmings running around...

WE'RE DOOMED!!!

He would not be a first-round pick this year at safety, unless they're going to play him at corner (that is, if he were actually capable of being drafted this year). By next year, it's possible that he will be a first-round pick. First-round safeties are very rare aren't they? But...we obviously know that Berry is very special...and can probably fit that rare bill. His safety position will likely push him down further than he should go...IMO.

really? did eric berry tell you this? boo hoo if he was going to, boo hoo if he does. depending on the new coach, there might be a scenario where EB see's the program moving in the right direction and competing for a NC in 2010. The new coach might also be very good and EB could want to play for him more than one year.
Make something out of nothing why don't you. We got enough to worry about besides EB doing something most feel he would do regardless.

You have got to be the King of reading people's minds based on 2 sentence quotes.

Nevermind the fact of what caliber of player he is. That was the main factor that made me say what I did. What happened at the presser just made it more clear.

Hasn't Berry stated in the past that he intends to stay all four years and get his degree?

Even if he did, it seems as is Fulmer is tied more to these players than most people think. Losing Fulmer isn't something the players wanted, and it will effect them.

Sean Taylor, LaRon Landry, Donte Whitner, Roy Williams are all safeties that went in the top 10 in the last 7 years. There are more that have gone in the 1st rd in that time too, like Jason Allen.

It's still an odd position...and could they take sophomores, I don't think that he would go high in the 1st. Even next year, he could fall down...but it is always a battle between $$ and position for these teams...and that has allowed more safeties to creep up recently....still tough for them though.
