I believe there are simple cordinates that UT gives news stations to share signals.

For example. UT will give them the satellites, transponders, etc.

And then the news stations will angle their satellite and receive the feeds.

I even think some UT fan here posts them sometimes

does any dish work to get these?
and wouldn't you be able to get live feed from the stadium with these cordinates during gameday? pressers? etc

Thank you

Why do you want them? Aren't you the same guy who posted that CLK does not deserve to be coaching here or any other school...

You don't deserve the satellite coordinates

who the hell are you? There are about 2 million people just as qualified to get satellite coordinates as you are

everyone knows that pete carroll gave you the satellite coordinates for usc

you disrespected every single member of the nashville kats alumni and showed that you have no respect for your elders by the way you used to treat marge schott

why did volfreak approve your membership and where is he now? There's blood on your hands, volfreak...there's blood on your hands...

Here's what to do: Wait for a severe thunderstorm. Then, go to the highest point you can find within a convenient distance from the underpass where you live. Then, take the broken 9 iron you think is an antenna from the failed Challenger mission and hold it high above your head. Then, just wait.

Good post Hat but I really feel the broken 9 iron would serve him better as a place to sit.

To answer the question, satellite time is booked, not owned, so the coordinates change. When UT has a media event, member stations are emailed coordinates for the upcoming event.

For press conferences and other media events, they post the satellite info on utsports.com. I know I saw them prior to the conference introducing Kiffin. Ku, and I think C band.

For games, the network broadcasting the game would handle the satellite links. This info would not be published on utsports.com. When I had a C Band dish I used to find these wild feeds fairly regularly, but I think I recall the bigger networks began encrypting them at some point in time.
