Relax. The SEC play hasn't even started yet. The Vols traveled across the country, played w/ a brand new secondary AND WR corps, w/o their most explosive RB and were still in it in the 4th qtr...vs a top 10 caliber team. This is hardly the end of the world...Michigan lost to a IAA team. THAT is the end of the world.

It looked like we had our baseball team on the field at times.

This could be a blank thread and all that showed up was the title and it would say all it needed to say...Same old Tennesee...

Tackeling is fundamentals...that was our biggest problem tonight...

Because no other coach has a problem with tackling, play calling, or anything else eh? Especially a "coach to be named later"......

That's what I am saying. Try playing a top SEC team tackling like that. We won't be in the game in the 2nd quarter. There is no excuse for not executing fundamentals.

I agree, some people need to come back off the bottle.

Ok so explain to me how this being our first game and having to travel across the nation should have affected our tackeling...(OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM TONIGHT)

This should be interesting...

When this is the quote after a loss. Well I think that speaks for itself.
truer words were never spoken. anyone with a positive spin after tonite is truly delusional. I mean, I get the fact that it is only one game, but it the slopiness is still there. and what of the " physical attitude" please. how many years do we have to hear about how physical the team is now.

We lost to a better team, at their house, across the country. We tackled poorly because we have a young defense that has a lot to learn. Cal will probably be one of the best offenses we will face this year, especially on special teams.

I learned how to tackle when I played pee-wee football...this is big time college football buddy and if these kids don't know how to tackle already I question why they are even here....nice try...
