Atlanta is playing like CRAP!!!!!! I know NO ain't this much better than them.....Atlanta needs to win this game badly to even make it as a wild card.....Time to get it together and make a playoff push

There's clearly a problem . . .and I'm not sure it's all on Michael Vick.

Tough to argue with that. Basically right now they are a bad football team that Michael Vick is sometimes able to overcome. They can't stop anybody on defense. The WR's are awful. The lack of touches for Warrick Dunn is inexplicable etc etc.

Just saw some stats . . . Vick ran for 166, but was 9-24 for 84 yards passing . . . Falcon receivers had 6 drops and Vick was sacked 3 times and was hit 12 times on passes that he managed to get away. :wacko:

They're a bad one man band.

They should of traded Vick two years ago when they could have gotten something for him! They have another Brett Farve situation with Schaub holding a clip board! Notice I didn't say the next Brett Farve, but a better Qb than Vick! Vick is not a Qauterback!

Vick may not be the answer . . . but the problem is that he's about 5th or 6th down the list of problems right now.

The real "icing on the cake" is Vick flipping off the home fans as they booed him at the end.

I don't blame him one bit.

Obviously it was not the smart thing to do, but for the past 3 years he has carried that team on his back and they have done an awful job of building around him. He plays behind a crappy offensive line that almost gets him killed every game and he throws to one of the worst receiving corps in the NFL that dropped passes that cost about 100 yards passing and at least 1 sure TD.

Vick will never be confused with Joe Montana, but I completely understand his frustration.

I went to the game and yet again the play calling and wide receivers were awful. Vick did everything he could in the second half to bring them back and no body backed him up. Roddy White's wide open drop at the end was awful. I am tired of hearing Jim Mora saying "we are fighting, we are trying, we have lions hearts......" Mora needs to stop being everyones friend and start being a coach. If he doesn't win a few more games Blank may scrap the majority of the coaching staff. I say at least Knapp is gone at the end of the season. The falcons are a disappointment again and being a life long falcon's fan this is what I have come to expect.

As for Vick and his "obscene gesture". No matter how frustrated you are flicking off the fans including a group of kids is classless and shows just what kind of "leader" he is.

It was just a bad week all around for Vick. It started with the Head Coach's Dad referring to him as a "coach killer" and ended with him flicking off the fans in his own stadium.

If it wasn't real life it would make a good sitcom.

I didn't know he flipped the crowd off, but I agree GA he's carried that team since he's been down there and if that was me, that'd have pissed me off too, I dunno that I would have reacted that same way but it would have made me mad too....You would think that they would at least try to build around him like you said.....He has one decent guy to throw to and that's Crumpler.....They need to get him someone to throw to and get him a new coach....I realize that team isn't just Vick's team but with someone like him you have to build around him...Maybe next year Mora will be gone and they'll go out and get him someone to throw to and make some good acquirements on Defense
