Saints Row Reboot… Yikes..

I hate it, just going to be honest. They went the safe route with woke and diverse unlikable characters. The writing sounds very corny. I thought the saints were supposed to be gangsters, these guys look like they were pulled from a San Francisco starbucks. Dead on arrival.

Saints has always had a pretty diverse group of characters. As long as they keep the over the top sense of humor and insurance fraud, they'll be fine.

Got to appeal to the kids I guess. I'm sure one of them will have the Saints Row version of a Tic Tok channel. But it's hard to tell from a 2 minute trailer.

Then call it something else.. if you want to appeal to the 12-18 demographic then chances are they’ve probably never even heard of saints row.

Was thinking 20 sometimes. But it wouldn't be the first time the old fans didn't like the reboot. We'll see when they put some actual game play out. Unfortunately that couldn't really keep going with the same cast after 4. If nothing else it has be better than Gat out of @#$^.

Yeah, I played it in 2018 so it seemed even more dated. The guy with the autotuned electrolarynx in 3 springs to mind as well. Saints was never a series I could take to seriously.
